About

Alex Tselekidis

Art director, filmmaker & UI/UX designer — San Francisco. Founder of Two.rs.

Alex Tselekidis has spent his career making pictures move. He is an art director and filmmaker who has been directing and shooting since 2013, and over that time he has delivered more than 750 commercials alongside short films, feature-length work and music videos. His films have run for brands, agencies and studios, and his personal and narrative work has screened at festivals — the same eye behind the ad is the one behind the story.

His range is deliberately wide. He shoots architecture films that make a building feel like a character, brand commercials that have to land a message in thirty seconds, documentaries built on a single real person, and short narrative films where the pacing is his own. That breadth is why the work reads as art direction first: composition, light, motion and edit are treated as one decision, not four separate departments.

Alex is also a UI/UX designer, and Two.rs — his studio and this site — is where those two disciplines meet. Rather than a conventional portfolio, he built his site as a working desktop you can actually use, with each film living inside it like an app. It is a designer's answer to a filmmaker's problem: how do you show a body of work without flattening it into a grid?

Based in San Francisco and originally rooted in the Belgrade film scene, he continues to take on commercial, narrative and design commissions. You can watch the films on his YouTube and Vimeo, see stills on Instagram, or reach him directly through the contact page.
